NEW DELHI: Lalit Kumar Gupta, who is presently serving as Director (Finance), Cotton Corporation of India Limited has been appointed at the top post of the company.

An order by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet read: “Lalit Kumar Gupta, Director (Finance), Cotton Corporation of India Limited has been appointed as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) in the scale of pay of Rs. 1,60,000-2,90,000/- with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post for a period of five years, or till the date of his superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.”
