NEW DELHI: In a major reshuffle, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved a number of appointments of officers at the Joint Secretary/Joint Secretary equivalent level.

Senior IAS Officer, Manoj Kumar Sahoo has been appointed as Deputy Election Commissioner, Election Commission of India.

Solomon Arokiaraj, IAS has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs while as Ankita Mishra Bundela, IAS has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare.

Meanwhile, Sanjeet, IRAS has been appointed as Joint Secretary & FA, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, M. Janaki, IAS has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission, Department of Personnel & Training. 

Puneet Yadav, IAS has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Department of Personnel & Training; Sujata Sharma, IAS has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas; Varsha Sinha, CSS has been appointed as Secretary, Oil Industry Development Board under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Sanjay Roy, llnfoS has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Steel.
