NEW DELHI: The 42nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, a Navratna PSU, was held recently at its Registered Office situated in Visakhapatnam. Ajit Kumar Saxena, CMD (Addl Charge), RINL, Chaired the Meeting. Sudershan Mendiratta, Director, Ministry of Steel (MoS) attended the AGM on behalf of President of India as authorized nominee.

Arun Kanti Bagchi, Director (Projects) & Addl. Charge Director (Operations), Suresh Chandra Pandey, Director (Personnel), Ch S R V G K Ganesh, Director (Finance), Shri G V N Prasad, Director (Commercial) and Dr Sanjay Roy, Govt Director attended the AGM.

The Company Affairs Department of RINL coordinated the proceedings of the Meeting. Ajit Kumar Saxena, CMD (additional charge), RINL, addressed the shareholders of RINL/VSP and explained the position of the Company. In his address, he reviewed the company’s performance, and outlined strategic steps taken during the financial year 2023-24. He further highlighted the achievements in production and briefed the challenges faced during the financial year 2023-24.

The Chairman concluded by expressing gratitude to all stakeholders, particularly the Ministry of Steel and other Ministries of GoI, the Government of AP, the Suppliers (Domestic and Overseas), Customers, Ancillary Units, Bankers, the People’s Representatives, the District Administration and various other agencies for the confidence and trust bestowed upon the Company and also sought their continuous support in future.
