NEW DELHI: Biranchi Das has taken over as Director (Personnel) of Coal India subsidiary, SECL. He was serving as General Manager at Coal India’s subsidiary MCL before assuming this charge.

Das brings with him a rich and extensive experience of over 29 years in diverse areas of human resource management. He is an alumnus of the Department of Personnel Management and Industrial Relations, Utkal University, Odisha.

His contributions are evident in his pivotal role in formulating House Allotment Committee Rules for Non-Executives in MCL and drafting Certified Standing Orders for the organization. Notably, during his tenure at the IR Department at MCL HQ, Das played a crucial role in fostering healthy industrial relations at the corporate level.
