Chandigarh International Airport has been awarded with ACI World’s annual ASQ Award for quality of service.
NEW DELHI: The Chandigarh International Airport (CHIAL) has been awarded with the ACI-ASQ Annual Award for quality of service in the 2-5 million passenger segment in the Asia-pacific region. It is for the 5th time that Chandigarh International Airport has been given this award. ACI World’s annual ASQ Awards recognize airport excellence in customer experience worldwide based on data from ASQ’s renowned Departures and Arrivals Surveys.
Launched in 2006, ASQ is the world’s leading airport passenger satisfaction program with over 400 participating airports in 109 countries.
Speaking to PSUWatch, Rakesh Ranjan Sahay, CEO of the Chandigarh International Airport expressed satisfaction over the award. "Its a team work, and IXC, once again has set the highest standards and its a testament to our customer-centric approach", he said.
"Sahay said IXC keeps listening to its passengers, striving to provide an exceptional travel experience", he added.
Chandigarh International Airport (IXC) has made a rapid progress by achieving a 5/5 rating in the Overall Satisfaction and Overall Experience indexes in ACIs ASQ Survey.
"IXC airport has demonstrated the upscaled performance ratings in Ease of Travelling and waiting time indexes. Likewise, parameters such as Health Safety, Cleanliness and Ambience were top-notch. Our airport secured 1st rank out of 335 participating airports in Overall Experience category in Q4 2023", Sahay said.
Chandigarh International Airport is the only AAI airport to receive ASQ annual awards among 2-5 million pax category airports in India.
This time Chandigarh Airport is also an inducte for the ACI World Director General 's Roll of Excellence which is a recognition given to airports that have won multiple ASQ awards over a five-year period in the last 10 years.
