NEW DELHI: Deepti Gaur Mukherjee, a 1993-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, has assumed charge as Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education.

Prior to her present assignment, Deepti Gaur Mukherjee was serving as Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs. With extensive administrative experience across various assignments, she brings considerable experience to her new role in the Department of Higher Education.

Deepti Gaur Mukherjee’s assumption of charge marks the beginning of her tenure at the Ministry of Education, where she will oversee matters relating to higher education and contribute to the continued advancement of the sector.
