NEW DELHI: Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Leena Nandan has been given the additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment.

An order by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, “The Competent Authority has approved assignment of additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment to Ms. Leena Nandan, lAS (UP:1987), Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change from 16.08.2023 to 23.08.2023 during the period of absence on leave of Ms. Arti Ahuja, lAS (OR:1990).”

Nendan is a 1990-batch IAS officer of the Odisha cadre who has been spearheading the government’s environment and sustainability reforms.
