A seasoned diplomat, Singhvi brings extensive experience in international relations and foreign service to his new role. As Consul General, he will be responsible for strengthening India’s engagement with the Indian diaspora, promoting bilateral trade and cultural ties, and providing consular services to Indian citizens in the region.
The Consulate General in Toronto plays a key role in fostering India-Canada relations, particularly in areas such as education, business collaboration, and people-to-people connections. Singhvi’s appointment comes at a time when both countries continue to explore avenues for deeper cooperation.
