NEW DELHI: Om Prakash Sinha has assumed charge as Director (Exploration), ONGC. Sinha is a seasoned energy professional with over three decades of distinguished service. He has vast experience in exploration, reservoir management, deepwater development, and strategic project execution across #ONGC’s key assets.

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, with a degree in Petroleum Engineering, Sinha has held several critical positions, including Head of Institute of Reservoir Studies (IRS), Sub-Surface Manager (Assam Asset), and key roles in GEOPIC, IRS Ahmedabad, and Project ICE, New Delhi. 

Sinha’s contributions have been instrumental in advancing ONGC’s technical excellence and operational efficiency.
