NEW DELHI: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Sunil Kumar Nagdawne for appointment as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Pawan Hans Limited, a leading government-owned helicopter services provider.

The recommendation was made following a selection meeting conducted by PESB, the apex body responsible for selecting top management personnel for central public sector enterprises in India. Nagdawne was chosen from a panel of candidates after a rigorous evaluation process that assessed professional experience, leadership capabilities, and vision for the organization’s growth.

Pawan Hans Limited, operating under the administrative control of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, plays a critical role in providing offshore transportation services to oil and gas companies, connecting remote and hilly regions, and supporting emergency and disaster relief operations. The company also offers charter services and has been expanding its footprint in regional connectivity and heli-tourism.

The final appointment will be subject to approval by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC). Once cleared, Nagdawne will assume charge as CMD, steering Pawan Hans Limited through its next phase of strategic growth and operational transformation.
