NEW DELHI: The Government has approved the appointment of Prashant Panwar, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 2015 batch from the Haryana cadre, as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Coal under the Central Staffing Scheme.

Panwar has been selected for a key assignment at the Centre, in line with the established procedures governing deputation of All India Services officers. His appointment reflects the continued efforts of the Government to bring experienced and capable officers into central administration to strengthen policy implementation and governance.

During his tenure in the Haryana cadre, Panwar has held several important administrative positions and has been recognized for his effective leadership and commitment to public service.
