NEW DELHI: Rekha Pandey has assumed charge as Director (Human Resources) of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) at the company’s headquarters in Sambalpur.

With over 32 years of professional experience in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations, Pandey brings extensive expertise in HR administration and employee relations to her new role. Prior to her appointment, she was serving as General Manager (HR) at the headquarters of Coal India Limited (CIL).

An alumna of the Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, Pandey holds an MBA in Personnel Management. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Economics from Maharani College, Jaipur.

Her appointment comes with the expectation that her extensive experience in human resource management and industrial relations will contribute to strengthening HR practices and employee engagement at MCL.
