NEW DELHI: In a major reshuffle, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved a number of appointments of officers at Additional Secretary level.
Vikram Dev Dutt, IAS, Chairman & Managing Director, Air India Asset Holding Ltd. has been appointed as Director General in the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India upon superannuation of Arun Kumar, IAS by keeping the Recruitment Rules of the post in abeyance.
Arti Bhatnagar, IDAS, presently in the cadre has been appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
Amardeep Singh Bhatia, IAS, presently in the cadre has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
Alok, IAS, Member (Administration), National Highways Authority of India, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has been appointed as Additional Secretary, National Disaster Management Authority, Ministry of Home Affairs.

The Committee also approved extension of central deputation tenure of Ashutosh Jindal, IAS. Additional Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat for a period of one year up to February 16, 2024.
